Ms. Houdek serves as a Financial Regulation Senior Manager for The INS Companies where her primary responsibilities include supervising examinations and training examination staff.  She has over twelve years of experience working in the insurance regulatory compliance field. Ms. Houdek has served as the Examiner-in-Charge (EIC) on financial examinations for various property and casualty, health, and life companies for various states, as well as the lead EIC for multi-state examinations. She has also conducted multiple operational reviews of workers’ compensation organizations and joint underwriting associations.

Prior to joining INS, Ms. Houdek served as an EIC for Examination Resources, LLC (ER) performing financial examinations, operational reviews, assisting with troubled insurers, providing regulatory compliance and network adequacy services, and performing Medical Loss Ratio audits.

She holds her master’s degree in accounting from the University of Missouri and a BS in accounting from Northwest Missouri State University.
