Mr. Johnson has over forty years of diverse experience in Property and Casualty insurance operations. He has worked with The INS Companies for the past fifteen years, the last four as Director.

Mr. Johnson previously served as Senior Vice President of the American European Group of companies, which included Rutgers Casualty Insurance and Kentucky National Insurance Companies. In that role, he reported directly to the CEO and acted as Chief Financial Officer of the insurance entities.

Prior industry experience includes CFO of Tiber Holding Company, Inc. (Regis Insurance Company) as well as Senior Consultant of a regional insurance capital consultant wherein he performed financial and liquidation audits for state regulators.

Mr. Johnson’s present duties are as Deputy Receiver of several large property and casualty insolvencies. Mr. Johnson has previously served other state departments. His duties include the Coordination of all Receivership activities including marshalling of assets, legal team assignment and coordination, asset recovery, claims administration and regulatory reporting; supervision of all day to day operations of Company including management and oversight of all Operating Departments of a Company in liquidation or rehabilitation; the evaluation of strengths/weaknesses of the Company’s Operations and Management Team for Rehabilitation and Liquidation outcomes; investigation and determination of delinquency causes with special expertise in evaluation of fraudulent activities and determination of third party liability; the identification and recovery of assets unique to the receivership process; and expertise in Captive, RRG and alternative risk vehicle delinquencies.

Mr. Johnson received a Bachelor of Accounting from St. Joseph’s University and is a member of the Society of Insurance Accountants and Insurance Accounting and Statistical Association. Mr. Johnson provides expert witness testimony and is a regular presenter to guaranty and regulatory associations.
